jeremym,

These heads look badass, and I can't wait for your results. For strokers like yours the TFS 235 looks like a even better choice than the TFS 225.

Let's see some big power numbers when you slap those heads on!

Don`t be suprised if your heads out run your intake. Mine did with my fast ported and all! Good Luck, let us see some sweet numbers!

those flow numbers are awesome. and for the price i dont think you can beat them. would a single plane metal intake work good with these, i know guys say those arent good for the street but it would flow more for those heads than a fast

if you want to spend more then 2500 on an intake do the sheetmetal.... but if you want to spin the motor high, get a ported victor Jr. and elbow. You still have a 6-speed and dont need 2k to 4200rpm. so get the carb style hogged out.

Get one of the good local guys to build you a victor intake, ie. Trevor J, Ray Mac, Hans F, etc. You will spend half (or less) of what the sheetmetal is and make close to the same power. If you go that route, BE SURE, and lay out a time line. Shops and these performance guys are well known to get too much on their plates and drag on for months, FYI.

Does any body have back to back dyno results FAST vs Sheet Metal intakes? What is the goods and bads about both intakes for a street car?

Sheet metals aren't "street car" intakes. In most cases the runners are very short with a large plenum volume so they can sustain high rpm's. In turn you sacrifice alot of hp/tq in the low to mid range. With a FAST, you could very well out perform a sheetmetal car from red light to red light due to you having a better low to mid range curve. Then comes the new Wilson. It should be a nice medium between the 2. It has the large plenum volume, but also uses a longer runner, so maybe it will be a nice option for the inbetween guys.
