LS3 vs L92
#3
Until the GM parts catalog gets updated with 08 info, all I can say for sure is different is:
Intake
Camshaft
Valves
Whether or not the shortblock is the same or not has yet to be deterimned.

I'm betting that the only real differences are:
Foam cap for L76 intake
Hollow stem valves
More agressive camshaft
LS6 or similar valvesprings (only thing that really interests me)
Possibly head gasket thickness and smaller or no valve reliefs size in pistons for slightly more compression.
I just don't see how they could get much more compression. I'm @ 10.5 stock with flat tops with twin valve reliefs.
Please let us know! I'd like to find out about those valves, and thinner head gaskets if avail.

Ok, so here are the differences. (Note GM dosen't ever specify what or how part #'s differ, us parts guys just know if the part # is different, there has to be something different with the parts).
Crank
Pistons
Rings
Cam
Heads
Valves
Intake (obviously)
Again, I have no idea how the heads and crank differ from the L92, all I know is they have different part #'s.
