Have built and tuned a few LS7s and in all respects the ported L92s flow and dyno as well as LS7 heads. Stronger casting and heavier, stronger valves.

Only problem with the L92s is they don't cost enough therefore they don't get get appropriate respect--

Please reword what you're trying to say because I don't understand what you're saying.

I have the dyno rented tomorrow morning (7/6). I'll post results in a new thread.

Thanks!

We'll see how good of a "tuner" I am since I am doing it myself...

I shouldn't have worded it like that. What I meant by saying it that way was the difference in cost between the ported L-92's and the LS-7's may not as far apart as one might think. No disrespect to the L-92 in any way.

No problem. I did not take it as disrespect.

LS7 CNC ported heads that flow 360 are only $2600 with Titanium valves. I thought that was a good price.
How much are you saving with ported L92. What do the heads cost, how much are you paying to port, are you getting 360cfm, and do they have Ti valves??

The L92s that I have are from Livernois. They cost $1795. They do flow 360 but do not have titanium valves. They use Manley stainless valves. Here is a link to the info on the Livernois site http://www.livernoismotorsports.com/...t.phtml?p=1534

The ported L92s flow very close to the LS7 and are cheaper and stronger. Just dynoed our latest LS7+ today with L92s and a very mild cam> 529/530 RW Dynojet in a C5.

If you are looking to run an aggressive setup, do not even consider running the factory TI valves. They have severe wear/breakage issues with an aggressive cam.
