I'm trying to steer her away from the hybrid thing. In a few years maybe GM will bring the 2.9L V6 diesel they have in the European CTS over her in the GMC Acadia. Now that I could handle. Biodiesel baby!!

I've seen that kicked around as an idea in print magazines. I'd go for that too.

So far nothing through 2010-11 on the diesel... that could change however....it's still GM.

Tell them Dual Disc Clutch Semi-Auto with paddle shifters please!!!

Or a trailblazer with the 2.9 or 4.5L diesel with said transmission. Or a tahoe with 4.5 and said transmission.

Well, if they do anything other than the 4L60 the 6L80 automatic is more likely, but can it take the torque of the 4.5L Duramax?
Hell why not options for the 2.9L V6 diesel, and the 4.5L D-max? Those two motors would out perform all of the gas engines and get much better fuel economy.

Just for casual surfers' info on the current line-up: http://www.chevrolet.com/colorado/

Looks like you hve to get an extended or crew cab to get the engine, but, I'm not sure. That ******* thing was hard to figure out.

Can I get this engine in a 4x4, Z71 with reg. cab and short bed? Pretty well no other options?
