I'm trying to steer her away from the hybrid thing. In a few years maybe GM will bring the 2.9L V6 diesel they have in the European CTS over her in the GMC Acadia. Now that I could handle. Biodiesel baby!!

I've seen that kicked around as an idea in print magazines. I'd go for that too.

Or a trailblazer with the 2.9 or 4.5L diesel with said transmission. Or a tahoe with 4.5 and said transmission.

Hell why not options for the 2.9L V6 diesel, and the 4.5L D-max? Those two motors would out perform all of the gas engines and get much better fuel economy.

Looks like you hve to get an extended or crew cab to get the engine, but, I'm not sure. That ******* thing was hard to figure out.
Can I get this engine in a 4x4, Z71 with reg. cab and short bed? Pretty well no other options?
