23x/27x on a 107, .630 lift.
Thanks for the cam numbers. I need to learn more before I buy a 427.
I am amazed at the different strategies for big motor cams. There are some cams that have only a few more degrees of exhaust duration, there are some "torquers" that have small duration and big lift on the intake. This one in your motor has a huge spread between intake and exhaust. What is the theory of exhaust duration nearly 40 more than the intake. I'm not questioning your choice of parts, I just want to understand why it works, and is this the right approach for me?

The cam needs to work with the flow characteristics of the heads. LS7/L92/L76 heads flow less on the exhaust as a ratio compared with the older cathedral port ls1/6/2 heads.
At least thats my understanding

JASON-I don't know how to post a graph, but I'm looking at my old 346ci graph from Kirks dyno(463hp 414tq) and he stoped it about 6,900rpm's and it never fell off. So i was wondering why the larger CI motore seem to. I will be comming down to Kirks in a week or so,I will bring the graph with me to show you,or someone can tell me how to post it and i'll try.

I meant show me an engine dyno. We have built engines that start to fall off around 6400-6500 on the engine dyno, put them in the car, take them to Kirk's dyno and they don't fall off at all before we shut down at redline. You can't go by the chassis dyno.

Video? Also, where can I find more videos out there showing Katech engine/vehicle packages other than the awesome Street Attack Z06?
Even more of the Street Attack Z06 would be fine!
+1 for great job.

Nice sounding chassis dyno run. What kind of numbers did it make? I'm guessing 551/502.
