Well my machinest Bryan made them for us. You cant see it in the pictures but there are looms under the manifold made out of billet that hold the wires in place. Every custom part you see on that engine(and even some that you dont) Bryan made. If you like those you sould see his billet aluminum engine mounts. Oh and after we powder coated the valve covers he went back over and ball milled them along with the valley cover.

Yeah those are some of the nice finishing touches that Bryan does for us when he does an engine for us. Everytime is different though. depend on what mood he is in i guess.

Will the routing of the wires work like that once the headers are on. Looks like some are going right over the exhaust ports. Could be the angle of the picture though. F'ing beautifull, regardles !!

Doesn't look like many LS engines.

Here is a picture. The guy in the GMPP garb is the engine builder Jeff Stealy. Jeff has worked his butt of on our Nitrous 454 LSX engine. If it bolted to the engine it had to be modified in some way. Jeff has the ability to get things done.

If you guys want to purchase an LSX hat and/or GM Performance Parts T SHirts they are selling online over at gmperformanceparts.com.

Thanks

Robin
Does that intake have the tube that runs inside (down the length) with the nozzles that spray right into the runners? I cant remember the name of the system now.

That is an awesome looking setup. Not to keen on the distributor, but it looks awesome. On a side note, be carefull with the timing pointer on the balancer like that. Those balancers have a tendancy to slip, which would reak havok on your timing. Good job though.

The wires clear the headers no problem. They come down in the same locationa as stock.

Robin, why is the first GMPP's 454 not fuel injected? Seems to me this is a step in the wrong direction. I realize that sanctioning bodies mandate carbs and all, but you guys have pull there at the General and it is time to get EFI regulated in all racing classes. If you guys can't get the rules to change, none of us will be able to. Just a thought. Nice work though, that thing should put the old SBC's in the garbage.

In the NMCA NPS class EFI is allowed! Schroeder's NPS 02 Camaro 632ci has EFI!
