West Coast Heads... Anybody running them? Did a couple searches and haven't come up with a whole lot. The engine I recently purchased has a a pair and I was curious to see how they performed. I know what their website says about flow, and wanted to find out what kinda #'s people put down with em...

Richard at WCCH is a very knowledgable guy and focuses not only on volume of air on his heads but flow quality which is more important.
You can't go wrong with WCCH.

A second, completely non-hesitant recomendation for Richard. He did a set of L92's for me as well, they are really nice and he is a wonderful guy to do business with. In my case, my engine is not complete so I can't boast "numbers," but the heads look great and was a terrific value as well.

Nice Heads! I have as set of West Coast Heads on my ride. I did a basic cam and head swap for my ride. I wanted something that could be daily driven, make power, and be smogable 
. My tuner,mechanic recommended these heads so I went with them. It really woke up the car. Here are some pics:

Here in Cali they give you a print out of your results. I passed with flying colors. I wasn't even close to failing. But just to be on the safe side I ran some Chevron Tech fuel system cleaner and some ZMax fuel additive the day before the test. I drove all day and took the car for her smog the next day.
You need to drive the car for at least 20 minutes to get the cats up to temperature before the smog test.
All in all it really is about the tune. If she is tuned right passing smog should not be a problem.
