looking at a set of pistons need some advice
looking at a set of pistons need some advice so i'll admit i have built a forged motor before but it was on a stoke bore and ect, but i am still no expert and still a total noobee
i was looking at some pistons for my 408 build, i have a iron block 6.0 block.
i'll be using l92 heads and i want my c/r to be around 11:1 thats still 94 octane obtainable right?
i'm just not sure what reliefs do in effecting c/r.
the l92 heads are 70cc chambers so maybe i need to mill them to get that c/r as well with these pistons
the pistons i'm looking at are diamond pistons
heres what he said the specs were
The specs are:
4.030 bore
4.0 stroke
1.125 comp height
flat top with -2cc vlave reliefs
6.125 rod length
sorry for all the questions i just dont wanna lay down a big chunk of change and be screwed and not be able to use these
