Default LS2 Forged internals

Hey guys, i own a 2006 GTO and am considering doing forged internals in it over the winter. I just want to get her strong enough to take some more nitrous. Does anyone have any recomendations as to what i should look for or anyone i should talk to to get them. I will be doing the assembly myself with the help of a friend of mine to save some cash. He knows what he is doing, i am learning haha. Thanks ahead for any input guys.

For nitrous applications I'd go with diamond. They use a form of aluminum that is more hard. This makes it better for forced induction or nitrous. Mahle is better when running na.

Are you also thinking about a stroker?

I was planning on keeping the stock crank and going rods and pistons forged only. I think that will handle a 200-250 shot no problem and allow me to get my car very deep into the 10's. I am not looking to spend an insane amount of money and just wanted to see what i'd be spending to do it this way and compare to buying a short block.

Thanks man

lunati=expensive. For your application I think you'd be fine with a set of good eagle rods and a set of diamond pistons
