Default Speed Inc. LSX 440ci build

Recently we have completed an LSX motor for customer, built for street and heavy nitrous use.

I worked with Eric Simone at Diamond pistons which put together a piston set that satisfied all of our requirements.

The rotating assembly consists of

Callies Magnum crankshaft 4.000"
Oliver Rods 6.125
Diamond 'inboard forging' pistons 4.185" bore -2.2cc flat top
Full custom set intergrating ETP 4.1 LS7 chamber valve pockets.
Total Seal AP rings

Anything beyond 400hp nitrous we would have selected a different connecting rod/piston setup. The customer asked for a combination that was reliable for street/nitrous use that doesn't anticipate frequent rebuilds. Aluminum rods are out of the question.

This combination will be paired with a set of ETP 4.1 LS7 heads, ported LS7 intake manifold and Kooks 1 7/8 step 2" C5 headers, D port flange.

I'd like to thank, Tony Schroeder, Mike and the crew at AES, Eric S. and Don at Callies.

more to come soon..

As long as youre not running a sticky tire the tranny and rear end will last forever, cant say the same for the tires
