I have turned the stock LS1 lifters to 8100 on a Stock Elim. motor w/ hollow stem steel valves, steel retainers, stock rockers, single 1.25" spring w/damper & 3/8" pushrods. As always, with the right combination of parts.......

The LS7 lifter will go to 7000, but thats in the Z06 with the ti intake and sodium exhaust valves. Also, I'm pretty sure every LS engine that has been produced after the introduction of the LS7 is getting the LS7 lifter. GM does that a lot when they improve a part.
