I chose a Darton resleaved 454 LS7 by steve at R.E.D. you CAN have your cake and eat it too. I didn't want the extra weight in the nose and it wouldn't be force fed, so the iron LSX was not a good option. combine this with a 1620gram bob weight per coated piston/rod assembly and this baby should spin nicely.

I've decided to drop my big cube LS7 into a Z06 instead of transplanting it into my 1994 B4C LT1 car as origonally planned ( wife talked me into it). I have a few pieces that are specific to swappng an LS7 into a F-body for sale. These items wills ave you a ton of time and money. I've already completed the research for you.

All items are new unless listed otherwise. All prices include shipping in the continetal USA. Pay-pal available +3%. I'll post this in the for sale section as well with pics as soon as I get some time.



1) BeCool High HP custom radiator. this is a slightly used radiator that will support 800 hp. need to be flushed but has alreayd been pressure tested. $775 ($1300 MSRP )

2) Kooks SS 1 & 7/8 to 2” step RACE headers 3.5” collectors. were used to dyno tune a new LS7 then removed for a twin turbo system. $850/ $1069 (MSRP)

3) 2001 six speed LS1/LS7 Harness and ECM . This harness has been converted to run all LS2/LS7 sensors and injectors according to the member I purchased it from, but I have not been able to confirm this. Comes complete witha base LS7 tune. $475

4) Lingenfelter 100mm MAF w/ wiring . instructions and ECM tables avaiable from lingenfelters website. $225 ($300 new)

5) Mcleod master clutch master cyclinder #139001 $225 ($335 MSRP)
6)LS1 pilot bearing (98-2002 F-body) (new)#14061685 $15 ($19.44 MSRP)
7) LS1 fuel tank & Racetronix fuel system. The fuel tank came from a low milage 2001 F-body will ALL hook-ups & wiring). The racetronics system is NEW and comes with the external wiring upgrade....$475
8) SLP air lid, filter, stock bellows, cold air uptake package..$200 ($285 MSRP)

9) ATi custom made balancer for the LS7 long snout dry sump crank but set-up for proper alignment of the LS1 accesory drive system. this is a 10% underdrive with alternator pully and ARP balancer bolt. I waited over a month for this to be built.....$550

10) LS1 Motor mounts w/ prothane poly bushings.slightly used....$100

11) LS1 water pump (+30%) ...$150 ($242.67 MSRP)

12) Katech Cam/knock sensor extension harness.....$55

13) Katech Map sensor extension harness.....$25

Looking at converting my f-body pullout ls1/t56 swapped car to a ls7 short block.
From what ive read everything will bolt up from my ls1 mostly.
Oil pan.
accessories or no?
Have to swap reluctor wheel to 24x but thats possible for not too much, right?
i have a set of TF 225 cnc heads in storage. While they may not be the best heads for a 427 will that fit properly?
