Default 6.0 liter piston to bore clearance

What is the general consensus on the proper piston to bore clearance for on a 4 inch bore 6 liter iron block engine. Specificly using JE pistons. Motor will be used in nitrous applications if that make a difference.

That depends on the construction of the piston. A minimum allowed should be on the piston spec sheet. If it is an inboard forging it will be in the .007+ range and a std forging .0035+. If you will be running nitrous then expect clearences to be .0005"-.0015" more. If you don't have a spec sheet, call JE and get their recommendation.
