what is the reasoning for the longer exhaust duration? I have not seen this before (new to cams and all), what is the effect on performance, trq curve, etc?

Best thing to do is search Reverse Split and you'll be reading for days. Best I can understand is that It makes more power under the curve and its good for guys with stock heads and restrictive intakes, but then again im sure im just as new to this as u are.
