Default Texas Giant???

I was curious to see if it will clear on an 05 6.0? with stock bottom end with stock heads. And will it clear with a set of trick flow heads also.

The LG Motorsports G5X2(228/232 595) & X3(232 236 595 609) will. I had both cams in a m6,made a mess of power and tq. They both soung great on a 112 and drove around town real nice. I ran mid 11's on the x2 and close to 10's on the x3 N/A. I then switched to the G5X4 and didn't notice a real gain over the x3 cam, like 5hp on the dyno. goodluck to ya.

i've allready got the MS4 in the car now. The only way I'd get a smaller cam is if it was a ed curtis custom grind and he decided that would be the best performer in this car.

You would actually gain clearance if you went with the TFS heads.

Meh its not as great as I figured itd be. It pulls great from 2500-3000 and up though. I know it makes no difference but the idle isnt quite what i thought itd be. Next time I think im just going to go with an EDC cam and trick flow heads. or maybe just some nitrous and one of ed's cams.

I have a Texas Giant on a 112LSA in a LS2 403 and the valves were no where near the pistons. On the intake side I couldn't even see the pistons at the top and on the exhaust side the valve was closing as I could barely see the piston. But it is a stroker with -4cc reliefs any way so it prolly would not work on stock pistons and stroke.

The car is my daily and only driver. It's not bad at all but my tuner knows what he's doing. But then again my daily drivable and yours may be diff. I drove the car cammed to college and work 5days a week last semester with no problems. Ive only changed the plugs once and when i pulled them they looked great. I could have put them back in. But i think ill just go with the EDC 242/248 on a 110. I know for a fact it makes great power, runs badass, and sounds the same. But then again I may just have my idle raised a bit. it idles around 750 and that may be the sound problem. it needs to be around 900 or so. It still has a really broken up choppy idle when its cold started. nothing like a cammed idle hardon in the morning.
