Default stroking a 5.3

is this even posible? if so i would love to try! but my worry is the crank case with that big of a crank and being able to get the right rods and everything with out tearing something up. any thoughts?

people do it all the time bore to an ls1 bore and put a 383 ls1 kit in it

what if you left it stock bore? wouldn't boring it to that make the sleeves REALLY thin?

Stroker kits use custom pistons. The problem with the 5.3L bore is that nobody makes pistons for that bore size. So the pistons would have to be custom made.

I've read many times that the 4.8/5.3 block can be bored out to LS1 bore and still handle boost
