408 cam experts please come in (PATRICK G) okay here is my new setup

compstar 4.0 or 4.1
compstar H rods
JE pistons
compression 11.5-11.8
TF 225-235
victor jr
custom elbow
90+ mm tb
custom 4" exhaust
150hp-250hp wet shot
what cam should i go with to get 550+rwhp and like nitrous. the car is a 3250pound SS m6 with a full cage, complete suspension, and 9" moser spool w/4:11 on ET streets. it is a track only car that might see 25 miles a year and i have had a 346 with a t-rex and loved it. i like big cams so i want to know what the best is. rmp range is 4200 to 7500 or less per powerband. i was thinking 256/260 .670/.678 on a 111-113. is this to much cam or am i completely lost my head now, to much exhaust fumes lately.

Vengeance uses cams that big and bigger all the time. Sounds good to me. But for nitrous use I would run more exhaust lobe and open it up to a 113-114. I have a new250/262 113 if you wanna try it.
Best cam would be solid roller.

What Is The Advantage Of A Solid Roller In My Application. From My Understanding, The Springs, Lifters, And Shimming Needs To Change. So Looking At Your Cam If I Had A Spec Of 262/274 .702/.706 On A 113 It Would Be Fine. I Need Patrick G To Help Out. Also Thanks For The Offer About The Cam Above, Sounds Good, I Just Have To Do A Little More Research. I Believe In Big Cams And I Know Patrick G Likes Low Lsa On Victor Jr Cars.
