Default L92 Valve Seals

I picked up seals today from the local Chevy dealer, course they won't work because of the spring cup (pocket) . Has any one used the US Seal #VS806V
or something similar?? I think I can get these local as well. I thought the GM ones would be the best, cause there GM. Also paid $44.00 for the set. They have two part #'s one for the intake and one for the exhaust. Are there others out there? Thanks

The factory valve seal is a 'hat' and also acts as a spring seat which doesn't work with Comp 921 springs. I smoothed out the chambers and ports on my heads, got new Manley intake valves and will send the package out for a valve job and let the shop worry about shimming and finding seals.

We use the 809v seals, but the 806v will work also. However, you will need some sort of steel spring seat.

Thanks for the replies, I was able to get some 806V's that will work fine. Couldn't use the stock Chevy ones like was mentioned earlyer as they would not work with my Comp Cam #4705 spring seats that I already have. The Comp spring seats are heavy duty and fit my #26918 springs, Yeh I know most people use the 921 but these are the new replacements and will work fine for my application

I was wrong and here's the pics. The only reservation I have is the step on the valve seal lifts the inner spring. I don't think that's good for the inner spring - the inner spring will probably expand and slip over the step.
