I am looking for a LS3 crate engine for a older car . Is there any available yet ?

Yes they are. Check with SDPC or any GM Performance Parts dealers.

I think only the standard version at this time.

We currently offer three...an LS3(490HP/490TQ), LS3 HO(535HP/500TQ), and an LS3 SS(550HP/510TQ). You can view them at the link below.

Cool set-ups. What is the typical installation cost for a crate engine or does that vary by vehicle? Assuming you are installing the engime w/o headers and other mods.? I would be interested in the 427 LS3 SS installed in a 2006 Corvette. Will a LSX 454 HO fit in a 2006 Corvette?

They come from us with all necessary components except for exhaust headers.
