Approximate compression ratio...

-28cc dish piston
72cc heads
4.0" stroke
4.030" bore
not sure on headgasket thickness...

this is about all the facts I have...

I come up with about 8.3 cr

Is this close?

Depending on wether and/or how much the pistons are in/out of the hole, and gasket thickness, youre in the ballpark.

Lets say .005" out of the hole (above the engine deck surface) with a .051" stock gasket thickness..

Youd be looking around 8.6:1 out of that 408ci motor.

Confirmed. My calc gives 8.65:1.
