well my builder just called me back today and told me that he has once again changed my cam for a l92 stroker
First of all i was gonna go with a ms4 camshaft my choice jeje but then i was readin threads and i guess i had picked out a bad one lol .. Then my builder called me and told me to go a different route along the line of 240 252,114lsa and then called me back today and said with my stall and gears that i have he changed it to a 230 242 114 lsa since its going in a truck i need somethign to get it up faster rather than having power kick in towards the upper rpm band ..

I'm looking for a cam myself for my 408 L92 setup. Good luck getting people to respond there are quite a few smartasses on here that will tell you to do a search like you haven't done that already.
How do you think your tranny will last behind that beast?

I am putting a Comp 236/248 114 lsa in a L92 427. Same split that your going with just in between the 2 cams you listed. I bought the longblock with a 250/262 113+3 cam and that is just way too much cam for a street driven car.

Here is what SDPC told me to use with my L92 heads.

The above SDPC cam is whats in my LS2 with Stage II L92 heads all Manley stuff. You will find cams larger then that in a heavy truck don't work so well. That is about as big as you want with big torque on mids & low end. Different story if you had a 3600 lb car not a 4600 to 5000 lb truck. All the SS Trailblazer guys have ran faster with the smaller cams. I should run low 12's with it all motor & low 11's on nitrous with my built motor.
