Default Guys using 4 barell TB's
What throttle linkage and brakets are you using. Its going ontop of an edelbrock vic jr intake. The one im looking at is from a non-sponsor, Im just looking for a tried and true product.

call up Texas Speed. they are building a FAST 4 barrel TB for my pop's street rod motor.

I think most people are using a lokar cable. I'm not sure of which one. Try typing lokar into the search and see what pops up.

Yeah I called up Lokar the other day. They dont have anything specific for my setup. I think I might just have to make something, unless someone chimes in with a better idea.

Get a Locar 24in cable, and a Jegs carb linkage return bracket. You will still have to do some modifing.

I run the bracket that came with the intake. then i got a t-cable from a 86 chevy blazer. its the same peddle hook up, and it fits threw the bracket, andits shorter then stock

On the bracket where it bolts to the TB, you need to machine it down a bit so more treads go through.

Sorry for the hi-jack/newbie question, but are the MAF sensors generally deleted on cars running these 4-barrel TBs?

I dont see why it wont as long as its the 4150 flange. Everything should bolt up the same. I justordered all of the brackets that I needed, Im going to have to get a 1'' spacer I would imagine. Once its all setup Ill post some pics.

I'm using a '98 Camaro throttle cable and fabricating my own brackets.

Hey I figured Id bring this thread back up since ive started the reassembly of the shitbox. Just looking to see how everything looks once its done. Ive already had to cut into the cowl to make up for the gain in height from my setup. Put up some pics of your finished product......any problems you ran into along the way, those would be good to know too. Thanks fellas
