No worries brother! Ed C. knows his *****! Getting the heads and intake ported IS going to make it all work together! You are going to be pleased, especially when you get it to the track!
What oil are you going to use for break-in? I'm still running Rotella in mine and will continue to use it until I hit 5k miles. (at 3300 right now).

only difference between the LS2 and LS7 is the sleeving as most know. The only reason I can run my LS7 heads on an LS2 block is because it was resleeved. You cannot put LS7 heads on a factory LS2 block.

Does the car feel like a beast? If it feels "spot on" as you stated, then things are probably right on. Who cares about dyno numbers. Take it to the track and see what your MPH comes out to.
