What oil are you going to use for break-in? I'm still running Rotella in mine and will continue to use it until I hit 5k miles. (at 3300 right now).

Scoggins Dickey sent break in oil with the short block and we'll use that for a couple heat cycles, then I'm going with Red Line synthetic 5W30. only difference between the LS2 and LS7 is the sleeving as most know. The only reason I can run my LS7 heads on an LS2 block is because it was resleeved. You cannot put LS7 heads on a factory LS2 block.
