^ Agreed. There's a lot of other things that go into account when selecting a set of heads. It's not just the flow numbers that tell you how they'll perform. The cross sectional area and runner size are a couple good indicators of performance. Looking at the exhaust to intake flow ratios help too. There's a lot of things to consider beyond performance. I haven't seen a set of ET heads before personally so I can't comment on them. I have a set of All Pro cathedral port heads and they are a work of art. They feature thick decks, the rocker area is super thick and reinforced, they feature a semi dry deck design, etc, etc....

My builder called All Pro about their 6 bolt heads and after talking about the set-up the All Pros were closing in on $8,000 with the parts that were needed. ET gave us a price around $4,000 complete for the LS7 style 6 bolt heads. I think the LS1 6 bolt cathedrals were $3,899 complete. IIRC.
I guess FI doesn't really require the top flowing head anyway, so they'll all make monster power given enough psi.

I got a quote from all-pro on their 6 bolt LS7 style head for $4700 with Enconel exhaust valves and BBC springs. If you went for all the top stuff, Titanium valves, Jessel rockers, etc., I can see them coming out to around $8K, that stuff is expensive. I also looked on ET's website and I don't see an advertised LS7 head that flow 397 at .650 int and 260 on the exhaust, where did you get that info? And your right, you don't need the best flowing head on the planet for FI.

The other thing to consider about the 6 bolt stuff is that right now ET isn't delivering heads (tell me how I know that!). They owe a number of places a number of sets of heads and keep pushing delivery back, and back, and back.
All Pro/WCCH seems to have a more readily available supply of castings at this time.

Guys we just finished up the tweaked version of our all new PRC LS7 cylinder heads & these bad boys broke the 400cfm mark!
The cylinder heads were revised slightly when it was moved over to our new machine & we're completely thrilled with the results!
Keep in mind this is a tweaked version of the cylinder head that already pushed our 06 Z06 passed the 600rwhp mark!
Here's the flow data:

With that said, I'd run the 4.0" version of the E/T LS7 head over ANY cathedral port head on the market. They will except damn near any spring you want to throw at it, same goes for valve train. And on the 4.0-4.65" bore stroker engines... They are wicked!

BUT to the poster who said his builder said like 8k to set them up... find another builder or just go through Richard at WCCH! He quoted you almost twice what it should cost.
Mightymouse has a set of the cathedral port All Pros for sale in the FS section if you want to save some serious coin on them.
I went with the AP's from WCCH and an LS7 intake. The intake measures 92.5mm across for the opening from the factory.

I have seen 400 cfm+ from LS7 heads a year and half go from a hand porter. I'll take a 6 bolt better built head any day over a little more flow though since I'm FI. I just wish I could have went with them now but funds is needed on other stuff.
