Question Friend of mine wants to mod his G8 (Please help)

1st of all the car is Lumina SS have the same engine as G8 they call it L98
Here (Middle east)

His car already have Full exhaust, Intake, LS2 CheaTR 215/230 629/592 117 LSA and Tune he is thinking about a set of heads OR Rotating Assemblie
for bigger CI.

WHo sells the best CNC Heads for this car??

Is G8 Block the same as LS2 Block (same Pistons,Connecting Rods, Carakshaft)???
I just want to make sure that If I ordered Rotating Assemblie for him he doesnt need to change the block Since I'm overseas it will cost a lot of the parts were wrong.

What is the highest and safest CI he can go with this block??

I also talking to him about porting the Intake from LS2Portworks.

Thanks in advance and waiting for some help guys.

Look at the short blocks over at Texas-Speed.com. There CNC'd heads are some of the best for the price. I will using there LS2 402 w/ Stage 1 LS6 heads and there MS3 cam.

G8 has L98 motor which has L92 heads to start with, so wouldnt go backwards to the LS2 style. PRC cnc'd L92's would be a good place to start.
