F Yes. Put that cam in there and get everything ironed out so we can keep this thread objective. Please post a link on the results to this thread if you start a new one.

This cam was used in gmmotorsports redback commodre and ran 10.87 @128 mph.

It is a 6.0L with L92 heads L76 intake. 10.4:1 comp. http://www.gmmotorsport.com/camshafts.shtml

Ok, so I guess 121 does suck then, but with 300 lbs of dry weight to shed, 100 of which is rotational with the slicks/skinnies (they are exactly 100 lbs lighter than my street wheels/tires), a good launch with slicks and good shifting, I could see gaining 10 mph between all of that I guess ?

One last thing, here is the before/after graph of the before and after dyno. Since I only have a printed copy of the latest one, had to draw and scan the before curve but it's accurate.

My guess is that about 40 hp/tq average was robbed by the S10's drive train, I think 30 was gained from the better intake/exhaust setup, and the rest is cam. Just like BUSA said in the beginning, the low and mid are in a different zip code. What a joke the lower rpm numbers must have been with the 240/248 cam.

Looking at those two graphs is humorous.
