Lots of NIPPLES! I am finally ready to drop the engine in and get all of the hook-ups connected, so I have lots of questions as I have never owned an LSx engine before.
I don't know exactly what these are, or exactly where they are supposed to go. You might notice the intake is spun 180 degrees, so the pictures might look a little odd. Also, I am using a UMI mechanical throttle body mounted up-side-down on a spacer to clear the block and a BigStuff3 ECU, so some of the vac lines may not be utilized.

1) Front of engine, just above the timing cover (and running under where the TB would normally be), there is a tube that connects both heads, then T's forward (yellow cap above). I am pretty certain it's for coolant, but where does it go to in a stock setup? There's a return line running from the "swirl pot" back to the rad. My guess is it should "T" into that return line. Or, does it go to the expansion tank? Reference last photo for images of the swirl pot and expansion tank.
2) In the same picture as above, at the rear-center of intake manifold (now at front of engine). I have no idea what this sensor is!
3) Front-right on the valve cover. Would this be the right breather?

4) Rear-left head. Left valve breather?

5) There are two connections in the next photo; one on the TB and one on the intake manifold. Where do these go?

Here's the photo with the engine bay and coolant plumbing.

Thanks for any pointers!

First one,
big nipple = brake booster
small - vac line
Second pic
PCV valve cover hookup, which goes into the one on the throttlebody
Third pic, you can leave it plugged, also is to plug into the throttlebody (use a t if you want to hook up both)
Last pic
Nipple on the intake = Evap.

Thanks, Hans. Here's the plan:
1. Connect (head) coolant line from engine into the little rad return line.
2. Connect (head) PCV port to the TB.
3. Plug everything else.
I don't need vac and don't have power brakes. Don't need evap. Might T into the left-rear PCV.
What do you think? Will that keep the essentials from squirting out the nipples?
