Talking Should I start a StreetSweeper-HT / L92 hp-tq pool?

Wouldn't it be funny to start a pool to see who can guess closest to my final numbers with my SS-HT / L92 combo? There are so many people who say it is going to suck so bad I'll hate it, I thought maybe I should give them a chance to win some $$.

My MAF check run from this morning is shown below

PayPal me $5 with your guess, and closest to the numbers wins!!! ***

I think you'll let the clutch out and the dyno will spin backwards..

I bet you make better power than some of the big dick cams people are putting in the L92 builds and then having to fib about the results.

lol Yeah...with what some people were saying, I thought it would have negative numbers. To be honest, I haven't the slightest how much stronger it feels. After driving my Bonneville for almost a month, I was was OMFG!!! Now, after about 30 WOT pulls over the last week, I'm desensatized a bit...but she sure runs well. After a little tweakin' this morning, my AFR is dead on.

I hope to have the answer this week. I have Friday off for a BBQ competition, so ideally it will be nice weather and I'll do it that morning. If it looks like the weather will suck, then I'll try to get her done after work Wednesdat or Thursday.

I would like the PIDs that you have for the Calculate Horsepower and GM Volumetric Efficiency. Can you post them? I know they aren't the real thing but it would be nice to have them to watch changes.

Oh ya, 478 hp, 445tq at the wheels.

GM VE is already an item on the list somewhere...I added that one, but haven't figured out if it is of any use.

Here's the PID as I have it entered now...

([PID.2701]*[PID.12])/5252

To account for the GTO driveline loss (about 15%), I think it would be more accurate to use:
(([PID.2701]*[PID.12])/5252)*.85

Gerry,
Thanks for the PID. Have you tested it to see if it is somewhat accurate? It would be good for a tuning tool to see if you made any difference while tuning or adding go fast parts.

Not yet...but I do run logs when I dyno, so I'll let you know. I'll post them here along with my dyno sheet when I get it done. I do know that your feuling, injector scaling, and such need to be dead on for it to be close.

My fueling is dead on now, and I went and did a closed loop check run today in some nice, cool air...can't tell you what it said though. That'd take away all the fun.

OK Gerry, you've got some miles on it now. How's it running?

Runs like a bat out of hell. After my trip to the track last night, I'm shocked I still have power to both wheels. I could have created a video that shows why you should not run 235 all seasons on a high horsepower IRS car at the track. Well, I did make a video, but I'm too tired to mess with it Here's my best run...13.2 @ 109. If you know HP Tuners logs, you can see why.

I should get her on the rollers Friday morning.

Here's a vid of my worst run...wheel hopped, missed 2nd, and thought I'd broken her...you can hear something hit. All pieces seem there and I did a 130 run on the way to work this morning, so she's all good as far as I can tell.

Notice the mop? I think the idiot in front of me had his A/C on.

She goes on the dyno tomorrow morning.

Here's the results...not what I'd hoped for, but I for sure had something F'd in my tune. He said tail sniffer was in the 11's most of the run. I'll post the log in a minute.

The red line is my last dyno run in May.

Give her some timing. Get a stock C6 2008 or 2009 tune from the repository and check out the timing table. The L92 is inefficient in the 2000-4000 RPM range and needs a lot more timing than you'd think. Above 5500 keep giving it even more. At 5200 I've got 25 degrees and at 7000 I'm up to 27.

I've got an LS2/L92/L76, 232/236 cam, lot's of porting, making 482.

Gerry, can you post the dyno log file on here? Just for curiosity sake.

Also, can you put the full cam details up now that the results are in? Valve events etc.

In the PID, do you have the calculated hp setup with a % of loss, if not 15% from your 513 puts you at the 435 on the dyno.
