As an FYI.... we see it at about 50-50 with our customers. My signature edition engine uses Callies but we offer Eagle as well. I've seen as much Eagle sell as Callies. No complaints from our engine customers. Nothing wrong with Eagle.

My 402 has an Eagle crank and rods. Eagle makes some good stuff IMO.

I've used tons of the Eagles but I also like and use Callies as well. Most of the cranks for the LS1 are actually pretty nice that we have used. The Eagles are about the only cranks for the LSx stuff that don't need heavy metal to hit 1800ish on the bobweight which is nice. The Callies Compstar is also very nice and a lil more money and already comes with heavy metal installed to make the crank balance.

I've had an Eagle crank in my 402 since early 05 with approximately 8K without a problem. I recently had the shortblock redone by WRE and reused the crank without a problem.

I have over 4 seasons of abuse on my Eagle rods and crank, they've held up just fine.

If I'm not mistaken, Phil Thomas's 7 second LSx powered Mustang is running an Eagle crank without issues! Also, another one of our customers from New Mexico is running Eagle H-beams with ARP2000 rod bolts well over 1000rwhp in his twin turbo C5 Corvette (you might have seen his pass on "Pass Time" when they were in Roswell). Also, one of our Co-owners race cars runs Eagle H-beams but with the L19 bolts. It made 1147rwhp through the Powerglide and big tire!
