Default Oil Pan and Valve covers

Has anyone used billet Fabrications oil pans and/or valve covers?
here is his link: http://www.billetfab.com/index1.htm

I like the idea of the 2 piece pan myself.

It looks like a neat set up to me.

What do most people use for their stuff?

Nice stuff but it doesn't look like they make valve covers for LS1 engines.

Actually they do. I called and they have a special program that if you buy an oil pan and valve covers you get up to $150 off.
I'm building an LS7 and he makes both pan and valve covers. I'm sure if you call he more than likely makes them for the LS1.

I just like the idea of a 2 piece pan. That way you can check your rods & crank bearings without dropping the whole pan.

If he does make them he ought update his site with some pictures and prices.

I went to check them out and did see any.

Not sure what you're building or how pan is pieced together but most cars require that you drop the crossmember to get the oil pan off.

I'm building an off road car and with the demands of off roading I thought that might be a good option.
I'm not sure on how your crossmembers are connected. Are they welded in or bolted? I think if I had one I would make it a bolt in for service reasons.

Just my .02¢

My crossmember is bolted, but I own a 2001 corvette.

Most trucks and older cars have welded cross-members making it necessary to loosen motor mounts and jack up motor to remove oil pan.
