Default ls9 pistons

Anyone researched them at all? Looking from GM, I can get them for a very good price. Are they worth it for an aftermarket build up for a turbo or SC car?

Still can't get a price on the rods, as GM hasn't adverstised a price on them yet.

If they are "cheap" it seems that it would be a good way to get a low compression motor built on the cheap side.

The rods are titanium. There will be nothing cheap about them.

I show a dealer cost of $73.78 for the LS9 piston #19180414, so an aftermarket set of pistons would be a no brainer at that price of $590 a set.
You would gain the benefit of having a set of quality pistons designed specifically for your build.
