Cleetus McFarland and Vengeance Racing? Here at Vengeance Racing we recently hosted Street Car Takeover’s Dyno night. The owner of Street Car Takeover, Justin Keith, Decided to let the man, the myth and the legend Garrett Mitchell aka Cleetus Mcfarland race his 2017 Camaro ZL1 during SCT.
Before the event started we ran the ZL1 on our Dyno and from the factory Justin’s ZL1 made 519rwhp and 522rwtq. While everyone was enjoying the Dyno night Garrett and Vengeance Racing’s own Alex Perz got to work on Justin’s ZL1.
For this built we used our Vengeance Racing Stage 1 package. This kit includes:
• GripTech 2.30” LT4 Supercharger Pulley Kit w/Hub
• Gates Green HD 8-Rib Supercharger Belt
• Vengeance Racing’s 4” Cold Air Intake System for ZL1
• 180 Degree Thermostat
• Tuning
After completing the install it was time to run the car on our Dyno. After some tuning the ZL1 put down some impressive numbers. With just Vengeance Racing’s Stage 1 upgrades Justin’s ZL1 mad 612rwhp and 626rwtq. That’s 93rwhp and 104rwtq over stock!
