I bought an LT4 out of a totaled 2016 Z06 Vette. Low mileage engine with under 4K miles. I got the complete wire harness to the car with it, ECM, PWM fuel pump module, a cardboard box full of modules; body control module, instrument cluster, etc. I also got the lower steering column cover with the keyfob slot in it, both keyfobs, gas pedal, fuel pump, complete stainless fuel line with the pressure sensor, ABS pump, electric power steering rack, etc. So I lay everything out on my garage floor, plug everything in, connect all the ground wires together, hoping to at least fire up the gauge cluster. I had my scan tool plugged into the OBD connector to see if I can read the codes, etc. Nothing !!!, I figured no seats, doors, airbag system, radio, etc. So the Vats/antitheft is keeping it from turning on. Next I build a bench harness for the E92 ECM. I successfully can communicate with it, so I use my son's HP Tuner (purchase 2 credits) and disable the Vats/antitheft. Still nothing. My goal is to fabricate a stand alone harness. The problem is that there are no DIY instructions anywhere on the internet. I am looking everywhere. All i get are places that take your harness & do it for you for $$. I am putting this engine into my 81 Camaro Z28. I apologize if I am posting in the wrong place, and appreciate any info anyone may have out there pertaining to building your own Harness.
