Default designing an exhaust system for my 2015 silverado.

hey yall,
I am dropping a 6.2 L86 with a 210/223 duration, .550/.550 lift, 111LSA, cam into my truck with long tubes, lt2 intake manifold and a 2800 stall. I had a 5.3 before and it was on long tubes, off road y pipe, catless, into a borla atak exhaust system. It sounded too much like a clapped out truck. I want to get a more "exotic" corvette like sound out of this system. I was debating on going duals into a valvetronic muffler (neighbors are on the verge of strangling me I need to shut it up in the mornings), right before the tips, exited out of the passenger side in front of the rear tire. or doing an X-Pipe, into the same valvetronic before the tips, same exit location. Some guy on youtube just had duals into mufflers out the very rear in the corvette like quad tips, running a shitty truck motor, and it sounded just like a vette would. So if you guys have ideas or solutions, or even better ideas than I had, go ahead and let me know!

To get vette exhaust tone, you need an x pipe.

ondagas on YouTube just recently did one on a truck with a 6.0 and it sounded pretty good. The truck is called ss clone. Maybe check out that video and see what you think

I liked it, i think it still had some truck sound to it. but definitely better. going to try and go for this guys sound:

his sounds the closest to vette exhaust i’ve heard so far

oh yeh that's bad ***, he removed the cross member that's the difference so he was actually able to keep them straight all the way back where as the ondagas guys routed there's around everything. I wouldn't mind doing this on my truck but it's debatable for me because I have a cutoff on my truck and I really don't want to get rid of my cut out.

i used to have a cutout, loved it for a while. Im just going to run dual valvetronics now so I can shut it up when it cold starts. I currently have a y-pipe going into a borla atak system, and its the furthest thing from equal length. sounded like absolute garbage when I was still on a 5.3. now im dropping a cammed 6.2 into it and i know itll be wayyyy louder. but I just want to make sure I get a super good exhaust note and so far the best way to do it is the x-pipe, equal length, back to mufflers. im not sure what the full plan is, gonna have to talk to some exhaust guys to see what we can do to get it as close to that as possible. i know CTS-V x-pipe fits around the transmission well like he said. but its definitely a lot of work, will be worth it.

yeh I priced all the stuff to do it and it's around 500$ to get the x pipe, 2 carven mufflers and the dual tips, which I was looking at black tips because my truck has alot of black on it. My truck still has a 5.3 and honestly if you heard it you wouldn't think it's a 5.3 because it's deep and lopes hard. It sounds really good but I just like that way the true duals sounds when you hit the higher rpm. It seems like it's revving so much faster then it really is and I just like to change up sometimes.
