Hi guys.
I have a 2016 LT4 i'm lightly modding and putting in a 56' GMC. I ran into a weird issue with the Texas Speed TSP182RR-ADJ-LT1 rockers i'm installing on the heads. I backed the adjusters ALL the way out and installed them on base circle and they load the springs. I waited a full day to see if for some reason the lifters needed to bleed down a lil and they are still loaded. I'm using a stock sized 7.850-11/32 BTR pushrod.
I'm thinking about setting up a dial indicator and measuring just how far it opens the valve as I tighten it to spec
Do these arms require a smaller pushrod? And if so why doesn't TS specify this?
Thanks for any help

It sounds like you need a different length of pushrod for those rockers. Anytime you change someting in the valvetrain you should verify pushrod length.

I understand their statement that if you replace STOCK p rods, these are suggested.
A totally different set of circumstances with the addition of a cam.
Post 2 says it clearly... Check the length.
