The new Corvette does have a "Ferrari" appearance now. I would like to get one even more now that I see the lame interior (radio area) is improved. The only down side is I couldn't afford one unless I got the bare bones base model. Too bad a decent trim is $75K.
... except for the *** end transplanted from a Camaro.

lol...yup...looks like the same tail lights. Looks like they angle out a little. I honestly like that style over the round lights. I always thought that was too 60s.
I remember when the c6 came out someone said that it wasn't a corvette anymore cause it didnt have pop up lights. Same person bought one 2 yrs later. Same things gonna happen with the tailights.... we'll forget soon enough.

Pop-up headlights were cutting edge technology in the 60's, badass in the 70's, played out in the 80's, and old news in the 90's. I don't think they're even legal anymore, which is part of the reason corvette went away from them I believe. Besides the Trans am, has anything had pop-up or hide-away headlights since 2002?
And at least the C6 vette's new headlights were still unique to the car, there was nothing else really like it (ferrari F360 and F50-esque, I guess), but it certainly didn't have any borrowed/blatantly copied ideas from a lesser car.

This is a great point. We also need to bring back those, too! lol
The only thing "Camaro" about the taillights is that they're both not round. They C7 rear is one of the most dramatic parts of the car. They lights look like afterburners on a stealth fighter jet
Well they're growing on me. If you think about it, the only parts on the car that are round are the fuel door, wheels and exhaust tips. It's a very angular car with sharp corners & contours. The more I look at them, the more I like them.
I can't wait for someone to come out with a "Lambo" tip catback. Would fit the rear diffuser opening perfectly, but it would have been too much change for the old farts on CorvetteForum!

Love that view. I personally like the back of the new Vette, its not too bad.

I agree with this 100%. When first looking at the rear end of the car I was disappointed that it looked extremely similar to the Camaro, as many others do. After looking at the high def. photos of the car it's beginning to grow on me as well.
