2014 camaro upgrades Hello all I own a 2014 Camaro and want to add headers (American racing Kooks, and maybe and a supercharger. Do anyone know if the supercharger at a low boost will burn out the highflow cats? Also does anyone know anything about AMD Performance and know anything about the LSA conversion that they offer..

I have not seen problems with the cats burning out from that type of low boost power increase. A rich tune yes I have torched cat honeycombs on a rich tune but it sounds like you are playing it safe. Depending what state you live in you could consider your options as they relate to your state, for example I have seen some really excellent prices on magna flow catalytic converters if your stock ones ever went. If you did have problems after a proper tune it wouldn't just burn them it would be 20, 30, 40k miles of continuous wear, it will wear them a little faster that's my opinion, in the same way that your engine will wear a little faster. I was always a supercharger fan until I went to school for Engine Performance and Emissions Controls. Have you considered a custom twin or bi-turbo setup? These set ups can perform incredibly well. One of many advantages is that a turbo will boost "as needed", while a supercharger is more a direct RPM link, even sitting at idle. Additionally there is some SWEET new technologies that allow turbo lag to be essentially no issue whatsoever, as your horsepower, if you choose, will exceed the limit of your tires as soon as you hit it. Additionally gas mileage is improved since it's not just boost boost boost, its boost as needed instead of boost-per-RPM. ADM can make you a nice pkg with headers,mild cam and the LSA supercharger conversion. Their making pretty good power with those for the price.Would also need a fuel upgrade aswell.
