Anyone notice they took the water pump off for the engine dyno? Definitely some power there. As well as the air filter. We ran an air filter, water pump and alternator on our 700hp test. We will be back after the record again soon.

That whole 440ci part helped a bit too I'm sure

I almost doubt the 440ci displacement, I suspect it's probably larger. The torque per cube is pretty high for a pump gas engine. 655ft-lbs with just 440ci is 1.489ft-lbs/ci.

I’m guessing it’s closer to 12.5 or 13:1 compression since the DI is so super accurate and optimal besides the inter cooling effect
The goal of the design engineering team was LS7 torque from the 3.62” stroke

These numbers really arent that impressive yet. Id expect VVT and those huge heads able to make significantly more power than what we were doing 10 years ago with that size engine and stock LS7 intakes, 11:1 compression Pretty healthy motor, but nothing near WOW?

Haters gone hate!

If you produced that engine for customers it would be the best thing since sliced bread. You'd be marketing it all day long. Be happy for them.

820hp from 440ci. But then again, race gas.

Are we expecting aftermarket blocks for greater than 500 ci like the LSX platform?

I did and I do LOL. I just dont "market" probably should.

KCS thats not in otherworldly realm I woudnt say. Thats about 660hp 550 ft lb in a car on a dynojet id say, when some of the better LS7 stuff makes 530 ft lbs (same per inch) and they are working with variable cam timing and direct injection

Impressive power and torque numbers but I am not a fan of the torque curve how it falls off too much after 5500rpm.
Fat torque curves drive better and pull harder up top

Thumbs up

Elie Bejjani in Houston at HPC recently did a 480 inch LTx that we built with a set of Greg Good ported CID LT1 heads.

It made 730 RWHP on a mainline hub dyno I think with the LTx Hi Ram in a 2018 Camaro.

I think Steve at RED did this Darton resleeved LT4 block as well for this big LTx engine.

Any vids of these engines on the dyno or are we supposed to just take everyone's word for it?

Take everyone word for it. The internet is very truthful.

Thumbs up 480 inch LTx with CID LTx heads by HPC and Greg Good Cylinder Heads

Apparently this dyno is a little lower in general than the Dynojets so it would be slightly higher on a 248c Dynojet.

This 730 RWHP dyno was with their smaller LTx CID head and right now they are changing it over to their next larger LTx CID head so I imagine the RWHP will rise a bit more.

I think this dyno was with the Hi Ram LTx version and it also made 706 with the MSD LTx manifold and 725 or so with the LME billet short runner LTx manifold.
