I have a buddy that spun a bearing in the "STOCK" bottom end of his C7.. my question is ..which are better rod and main bearings ..the stock coated bearings or aftermarket clevites??

I’m gonna go with factory coated ones. Very nice fitting and consistent clearances

Only bearings available at the moment are GM for the LT engines.

My first question would be why he spun a bearing in the first place. From the power these things can make, and whats available as WS6 said. I'd think stock bearings would be fine.
