LS coil pack upgrade?

Any difference between MSD and Accel Coil Pack?

Any better one's out there on the market?

Yes, GM are better.

Just get some of these (D585) round heat sink truck coils. They will handle anything you can throw at it.

Agree completely. It was a different situation on the original SBC. You had a distributor, and 1 coil. My coil packs are 20 years old, and you still don't wanna pull a plug wire off without gloves.....GOOD gloves,, too!! Ask me how I know! They fire a .040 gap in a built LS7, NO problem. I've heard the older MSD coil packs had problems, say 10-15 years ago. But the newer ones seem trouble free. But so are the stockers. I have an older LS based book done by Will Handzel and Wheel to Wheel Powertrain that recommended using LS Truck coil packs. They were supposed to be a little higher output, and used on turbo applications.......
