Max overbore Gen V 5.3?

Default Max overbore Gen V 5.3?

Do we have a situation like with the LH6 Gen IV 5.3L where we can push these Gen Vs out to 3.902-3.905 then run the stock forged L8T 3.860 crank giving us a nice cheap fully forged 370ci ( with the rods and pistons) with little machine work?

I haven't found a piston manufacture that offers a piston for the L83 that's any higher than 3.80 bore.

What about the 4.3 LV3 pistons? Can these go to 3.92"

You would have to it sleeved the cylinder liners in them from GM are on the thin side, about 90% sure max over bore per GM is .5mm for service repair. I have a piece of broken liner I can get a thickness measurement for the factory sleeve if you need.

There are two different l84 gen v engines. Some have spray welded cylinders which are very thin. Some have sleeves already. You seem to have spray welded cylinders. I believe 21-present have spray welded cylinders
