Gen V truck connecting rod?

It's true that a Gen V rod will fit in Gen IV, the balance might be off though since the rod is a little heavier. The 5.3 rods wont get you and advantage, only the 6.2 rods.

The 6.2 L86 is identical long block to the wet sump version LT1, except for the intake manifold and exhaust. Cam, rotating assembly, block, etc are the same.
