Default feedback on build before i pull the trigger.

Starting pint 2017 GMC sierra 50K miles, headers and exhaust + Magnason tvs 2650 8lbs boost
Picked up a 5.3 with 105K on it.
Plans.
5.3 std bore, H beam rods and new pistons from GPI
TSP stage 1 supercharger cam Lifters springs
Factory 214 casting heads with CNC porting by GPI
Head and msin studs
Stock Crank.
Billet stall converter.
Goal 700 wheel good daily driver. under 20lbs boost.
Am I crazy or is this reasonable

You mentioned 8 lbs of boost up top, and under 20 lbs at the bottom. I think this is doable as long as your willing to turn the boost up some. Doubt you’ll get to 700 wheel at 8 lbs…might take 12-15+. The Gen5 stuff is crazy efficient.

Sorry let me clarify, I am running 8 pounds now with a bone stock motor.
I was thinking of a 20 lb max after the rebuild with a new upper pully and a boost controller.

I am picking up all my other stuff from them (rods pistons oilpump) and they are doing the porting. they have a turbo cam and a low lift cam and High lift cam for the l83 but no supercharged cam per se.
BTR on the other hand has a superchanrger cam

Ok gotcha. You should have no problem at all hitting 700 wheel.
