Mine took two slugs, one on the front crank throw and one on the rear. This is with K1 rods and Wiseco pistons with their heavier wrist pins.

Same here. My setup was:

6.098 K1 rods
10cc dish 4.005" 1.215" CH DSS pistons with their 180" wall pin.

It' been said these cranks are around 1700g (most aftermarket LS cranks are around 1800) bobweight which will be really hard to get any high power rods/pistons without adding Mallory. You could probably do a NA deal with Mahle pistons and a light I or H beam rod and not add weight.
Duh, that's right. Don't know what I was thinking there.

You must have asked to have the wrist pins be .945 for those rods?

The Wiseco pistons I used for the 4.010 bore/6.125" rod/3.860" stroke crank came with their heavy wall wrist pins. I got my pistons through Scoggin Dickey Performance.

They had the .927 pin available when I ordered them. Looks like they're no longer available though.
