L83 dod delete/ cam swap oiling question
Have done a few gen 3/4 dod deletes/cam swaps and builds. New to the LT lineup. Helping a buddy on a 2019 L83 in a silverado. Going for a dod delete and small cam/ spring combo. Two questions:
When i hunt for parts I don't see a oil relief valve plug listed for this year and engine. Only for gen 3/4 engines. Does a plug for this exist?
Next question,
Is the stock oil pump okay to run after dod delete? Normally I swap a standard volume pump after dod deletes but I'm struggling to find a standard flow gen V l83 oil pump avaliable. Anybody have a part number?

L83 was 14-18, this had the older style plugs for the dod , the L84 in 19+ has a puck that bolts down for every set of lifters so it can knock out any cylinder it chooses for smoother dod. You need a pump alignment tool before removing the oil pump, it s a variable vane pump with a ecu connection that controls it and its removal without the proper alignment tools to put it back pretty much renders it scrap. you can see the parts next to each other at this site https://www.amsracing.net/collection...j_owfDkFmSn3k5
The swap cam also if it has a bigger fuel lobe that pumps has to be shimmed or it can bottom out
