2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 lt: Gen V engine question Q: Am I ok asking Gen V questions here, having a truck and not a Camaro?
Q: Where do I get service guides? I've heard alldata and identafix. Are Chilton manuals any good?
Considering doing, for truck longevity:
- Checking for intake valves carbon caking.
- Oil Catch can install.
- AFM physical delete. Possible cam (and other) upgrade.
- New oil pump (scary as this is dropping oil pan).
- Transmission service: filter and new PPE pan for extra cooling.
- Transmission valve body upgrade
