Ok, Ben is getting the OEM size minus a/c for those who were wondering.

25% with no a/c is 918844 with ac/ 918845

10% with a/c is 917576 and the Fbody and GTO are the same model number

pm's sent with pricing, anyone else interested pm me for GP pricing.

ati told me the part number for the ls1 f-body 10% underdriven with the A/C is 917276 and you listed it as 917576. i just want to make sure i have the right part number before i send the money.

i am leaving town right now until monday so i will have to wait until then to order it to ensure that i have the right part coming.

check ATI's chart on their site (i posted a link on the previous page) and you should be able to determine the part number. i was told the wrong one at first by ATI too, but the corrected it.

There is two part numbers for 10% with no A/C??? Whats the difference? Also, is it best to go without a underdrive and just do the stock size without A/C since I am only driving the alternator off the crank?

This is what I was told by john a ati:

The easiest way I can answer that is as HP and RPM and weight of the crank increases the damper inertia weight needs to increase, so on a stock stroke motor of 3.48” and stock HP of , lets say 400HP I would run a 25% UD and take advantage of the weight savings and the drop in acc speeds. Now with a 4.25 stroke crank and 700HP the 25% UD damper is overworked and not the best choice for your engine now and the 10% UD can be used as the smallest damper I would put on the engine and you still can have the drop in weight and the slower acc drive but on high HP cars or any street driven car or road racer I always like to put the oem size 7.5” damper because you can never over dampen an engine but you can under dampen it.

part# 917243 has an aluminum hub. I would call ati, their tech guys are great.

They told me to go with the steel hub for all around street, roadcourse and occasional drag use.

Good advice on both points. I told a customer the exact same thing about the aluminum hub vs steel. ATI will also tell you for street use to go with the 10% and not the 25%

Just ordered the 10% pulley w/no A/C from you. Awesome price here folks! When you can beat Jegs or Summit by a decent amount with the shipping included then its a steal! If you haven't ordered your pulley yet then do so. I know not everyone who said they would buy has so go for it! Thanks for the help Chris.

that's PROBABLY the right part number, but i would verify it first. several other people, including myself, were given part numbers by ATI reps that were 1 digit off, or had two digits reversed.

I'm kinda new to the group purchase deal here...but is this limited to just the ATI dampner listed in the first post, or is it open to any ATI dampner? I'd be intrested in a 917268.
