918853 is for blower setups, 917242 is the OEM diameter pulley with an A/C pulley, which is what i have minus the A/C pulley. the 918853 pulley would be, I THINK, for a cog drive procharger setup or something similar. email ATI with any questions you have for definitive answers, they're VERY thorough and informative

The ATI Serpentine Super Damper contains grooves for serpentine belts machined into the outer damper shell. The dampers come standard with 6 outer grooves for standard OEM drive systems. 8 & 10 grooves are availabe for supercharger or turbo applications.
this is messing with me. i thought the super damper would be fine the way it is? do i need more grooves with my 8 rib setup for my d1sc or will it be fine because it seems that i need more grooves for my supercharger setup and i keep seeing this in the part description for this damper?

The pulley will be fine the way it is if you are running a procharger style setup. Just bolt your blower crank pulley to it and go. Hope that helps
