Todd,
Are you going to email/call us individually to let us know that our headers shipped and give us tracking info? Thanks!

I asked Todd this when i places my order and he told me Jet-Hot does not do this. After they ship, YOU have to call for tracking info.

Okay, the GP is listed at $550. If I'm not mistaken here. Whats the difference between this price or Summit's. Summits is listed at $579.95. Is the coating better on this GP? Cuz a $30. savings just doesn't seem like that much of savings IMO especially when your talking about a minumum of 10 orders. Don't get me wrong, I'm interested in the GP.
Correct me if I'm out of line here?

Re: GP on Jet-hot coatings Hooker longtube headers is here.........
Okay guys, here's the latest from Hooker. The tracking information they gave me shows that the first batch will arrive wednesday or thursday. When I actually have confirmation of their receipt I'm going to call or email those guys who will be covered by this shipment. The second shipment - which will cover the balance of the GP - should arrive one week later.
Now for the good news: everybody so far has been super cool and patient about this whole mess. I've arranged to drop the price on the ypipe to $211.70 to try and say thanks. Unfortunately I wasn't able to change the header price. As always, if you have any questions just drop me line.
Thanks
Todd

Re: GP on Jet-hot coatings Hooker longtube headers is here.........
Can you tell us with a list who will be receiving the first batch of headers?
How do you decide is the first people to say they wanted them or how are you doing this?

Re: GP on Jet-hot coatings Hooker longtube headers is here.........
Just wanted to say this: He isn't a representative of hooker products. I asked him a few questions regarding the headers and he answered them either to the best of his knowledge or from previous expierence from other customers. His attitude was great. I appreciate the good customer service he provided. I placed my order and paid in full. I guess I'll be 1 of the last guys to get my headers Oh well, I'm in no real hurry. Thanks for the GP all.

Oh we know todd has been great it's not his fault hooker can't get there **** straight. Look at most GP's for longtubes they usually take a while because these companies can't put them together quickly enought to meet demand....

Re: GP on Jet-hot coatings Hooker longtube headers is here.........
Good news! Headers have arrived! I've have called or emailed everybody who is getting theirs in this first batch. We're trying to get these out by 9/17-18, which means most will get on the 20 or 23rd. If you want to email me a request for a tracking number, that's cool. I should be calling the rest of you in about a week. Thanks guys.

well then I'll have to stick with MAC's I don't want to spend money on more stuff that I already have in one way or another.

Re: GP on Jet-hot coatings Hooker longtube headers is here.........
Guess I am on the second batch also!
Oh well, at least they will be coming soon I like the price drop on the y pipes also

What else do I need to get...sensors or anything?
Thanks
Matt

Re: GP on Jet-hot coatings Hooker longtube headers is here.........
I guess I am one of the lucky ones! (first batch)
I'm wondering the same thing - what all do I need for a first class install.
Think I can reuse the stock bolts?, I've heard stories about header bolts bottoming out and galling the threads in the heads - horror show
How many clamps come with the headers/y-pipe?
O2 sims to replace the after-cat 02's?
Longer EGR tubes?,
Gaskets?
Any problems tying the Hooker y-pipe to a Corsa?
Thanks ahead of time for any help on these dilemas

Re: GP on Jet-hot coatings Hooker longtube headers is here.........
Myself, i bought some Stage8 locking header bolts. You'll also need a pair of o2simms if your goin with the ORY. Oh Yeah....buy some GM header gaskets...i've not heard too good of things about the hooker gaskets. And the EGR...well....ummm...mine got ripped out 2 weeks ago along with the AIR

Re: GP on Jet-hot coatings Hooker longtube headers is here.........
How much are the GM head gaskets?
I already have most of the parts I will need except for the 02 simms since I will be running an ORP! Buying the 02 this week at a local shop. I heard it is better to get a new set of header bolts from GM than to do the stage 8 locking bolts. Anyone know if this is true?
I am on the first group so hopefully they will be here at the end of the week (Saturday).
