Is it necessary to purchase new header gaskets and use them with the new headers?

From what ive heard, The stock gasket is good as long as it is in good condition. You can decide when you take off the headers I guess. I think below like 60k miles probably and you can reuse it.

My car has almost 80K miles on it now.. I guess I'm gonna have to run over to a GM dealer and pick up some gaskets then before I get the headers installed :\. I wonder how much those are gonna cost
